Hi there! I’m Ella, and I’m so excited to share a bit about myself. I grew up in South San Francisco but now live in beautiful Santa Cruz, just a 15-minute walk from the boardwalk. Even though it’s close by, I usually prefer the quieter vibe of Seabright Beach, I often enjoy watching the full moon or jumping into the ocean with friends.

I’m currently finishing up my degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Italian and plan to graduate from UCSC this June. After that, I’ll be heading to Norway to attend a folkehøgskole, where I’ll dive into learning outdoor life skills like skiing, surfing, camping, hiking, and more. My love for the outdoors fits perfectly with this next adventure—I enjoy hiking, camping, and snowboarding, and I’m a climber (thanks to my boyfriend, Nate, who got me hooked!).

When I’m not outside, I enjoy cozy nights at home crocheting, cooking, and watching scary movies. There’s something so satisfying about creating something with my hands whether it’s a sweater or dinner with my roomate. I go my parents’ home in Millbrae all the time to spend time with my family and dog, Nik, who are always so supportive on my various adventures. 

My life is an exciting mix of academics, outdoor exploration, and creative hobbies right now, and I can’t wait to bring that same energy to my tutoring sessions.
